Predator: The Duel is a J2ME mobile action title in which players take on the role of a lone Predator engaged in a brutal hunt across hostile terrain. Released for a wide range of feature phones, the game was built around fast-paced combat, simple controls and short, intense missions designed for older mobile hardware.
The game features multiple builds and device-optimized versions, each tuned for different screen sizes and performance levels. Despite its limitations, it delivers a faithful Predator-themed experience: stalking enemies, activating iconic tech and battling through dangerous environments.
The core loop focuses on tense, close-quarters combat and tactical use of Predator abilities. The player can slash enemies, leap between platforms and activate temporary cloaking to approach targets unseen. The game mixes platforming with quick attacks and survival challenges.
As missions progress, enemies become more aggressive and numerous, forcing the player to rely on timing, positioning and resource management. Environments—ranging from jungle paths to industrial zones—are laid out in classic 2D mobile style, with traps, ambushes and boss encounters.
