About

Shifting the action from the jungle to the urban sprawl, Predator 2 doubles down on neo‑noir mood, frenetic shootouts, and franchise world‑building—including a trophy room that teases a wider hunting mythology.

Plot

In 1997 Los Angeles, an unprecedented heat wave and raging gang war create chaos in the streets. Amidst the violence, Lt. Mike Harrigan and his police unit clash with both heavily armed cartels and a secretive new threat: a Predator stalking the city’s most dangerous combatants.

As Harrigan investigates a series of grisly murders, he discovers the killings are not the work of humans but of a technologically advanced alien hunter. Federal agent Peter Keyes leads a covert task force attempting to capture the creature alive, but his true motives put Harrigan’s team at risk. Friends and partners fall victim as the Predator escalates its hunt across rooftops, subway tunnels, and back alleys.

Determined to stop the slaughter, Harrigan pursues the Predator into the depths of the city and onto its spacecraft. In a brutal one‑on‑one battle, he manages to fatally wound the alien. Before departing, a clan of Predators spares Harrigan and awards him a centuries‑old flintlock pistol as a trophy, underscoring the honor code behind the hunt.
