Plot
When a Predator ship crashes on Earth, Army sniper Quinn McKenna discovers alien technology during his mission in Mexico. Realizing the government will bury the truth, he mails the Predator’s gear back home, where his young son Rory inadvertently activates it, drawing the alien’s attention.
Government agent Traeger assembles a team of ex‑soldiers—“the Loonies”—and scientist Casey Bracket to track the Predator. But the hunt escalates when a towering “Upgraded Predator,” genetically enhanced with DNA from other species, arrives to eliminate both humans and its smaller kin. Quinn and the Loonies fight to protect Rory, who becomes the key to understanding the alien technology.
Amid betrayals and mounting carnage, Quinn and his allies battle both Predators in suburban neighborhoods and forests. The Upgraded Predator seeks to abduct Rory, seeing his neurological gifts as an evolutionary advantage. In a final confrontation, the humans turn the Predator’s weapons against it, defeating the creature at great cost. In the aftermath, a captured piece of Predator technology hints at humanity’s new role in the ongoing interstellar conflict.
